Kirklees Fostering Network (the KFN) is a registered charity that is organised and run by Kirklees foster carers. Some of its many aims is to offer foster carers extra support to run alongside the support that Kirklees Council offers its carers because sometimes the best support you can get is support from another carer. It also exists to be the collective voice of all Kirklees foster carers.

The charity has a committee that meets monthly to discuss issues. This meeting is open to all Kirklees foster carers and all carers are welcome to attend. The meeting and its location are announced on the calendar in the forums.

One of the fun aspects of the KFN is that it organises day trips to attractions and party evenings where we celebrate all sorts of topics and events.
